Visual Artist & Educator
A native of Washington, DC, Cisco was molded by the love of his mother. In his formative years, she worked in a ticket booth at a movie theater where he found his love for movies. Cisco was fascinated with the work of Walt Disney and Warner Bros. films and cartoons. He recalls tales of him and a few friends being able to have private showings of the recent releases.
As he grew, he had some issues with bullies in school whom he felt he needed to put in their place—hence a few suspensions and expulsions.
At 16 years of age, he went on his own to Boston, MA, where he was introduced to the work of mathematician and artist M.C. Escher, which inspired him to pursue his goal as a graphic artist.
Now with over a half century of experience, he hopes to inspire the young who show interest in art and computer graphics with a combination of teaching math and computer skills to expand their knowledge of science, art, and critical thinking.
